Things you need to bring with you

Although we supply a small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets and fairy liquid, toilet roll, & bin bags to start you off which is in line with our visit wales grading structure you will need to fetch extra of all the above with you including toiletries for use during your stay. Please note our American style refrigerators do not dispense ice so please fetch some with you if you plan to use any. Extra towels are advisable for the hot tub as we only supply towels for bathing.  Hot tubs are emptied and cleaned 7am on the day of your departure.

Is there Wi-Fi in every lodge?

Luxury Lodges Wales are pleased to announce they have just installed a new satellite super-fast broadband Wi-Fi system to each individual lodge, with download speeds of 50 meg free to each lodge guest to make their stay a complete luxury experience.

Is there on site EV charging available?

Yes, we have on site Electric Vehicle charging points, these are free for our guests to use during their stay (however please note that our charging points are NOT available to the general public, they are strictly for staying guests only).

Is the BBQ charcoal or gas?

You can purchase disposable BBQ trays from Reception, for use on our stands outside your lodge.

Do all the lodges have towels and linen provided?

Yes (although we suggest bringing extra towels for the hot tub, we only supply towels for bathing).

* Please note despite investing heavily in brand new towels for our guests, some of the towels we supply may have the occasional small wood stain; this is due to guests hanging the towels over the wood of the lodge (we provide clothes horses for hanging them over), however our guests are welcome to fetch their own towels should they prefer to do so.

Is using a sat nav to get to your destination a good idea?

Yes! But only to get you to the village, then it sends you down a narrow road just below us, our entrance is directly off the main road with ‘Grandstand’ on our stone entrance pillars, also brown signs in the hedgerow are pointing you in the right direction.

Do all mobile networks have signal on the park?

Yes. Vodafone is patchy.

What is the earliest time we can check in on our arrival and departure?

Arrival is between 4-30pm and 6.00pm and check-out 10am prompt. (Note any later than 6.00pm please ring to arrange for staff to be at Reception for key collection 48 hours before arrival).

Do you accept dogs at Luxury Lodges Wales?

Sorry we do not accept pets.

What household appliances are provided in the lodge?

All the lodges have the standard household appliances; these include dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, toaster, kettle, saucepans, cutlery and crockery, microwave and Iron facilities and upright fridge/freezer. (1 hairdryer).

Do you supply cots and highchairs?

Yes you can hire these for £10 per item.

Can we arrange a grocery delivery to our lodge?

Yes, we have regular visits from Tesco, Morrisons and Asda. Please arrange delivery for after 4.30pm (on your day of arrival). You must be in the lodge to accept delivery.

Is there a pub within walking distance?

Yes we have a local pub/restaurant 5 minute walk away in the village.

Are there any good restaurants nearby?

Yes we have many very good restaurants in area. Please enquire on arrival.

Do you have supermarkets nearby?

Yes we have supermarkets in Llanidloes 4 miles and Newtown 9 miles.

Are there things to do in area?

Yes, plenty of things to see and do (Please see links on website and visit showmewales.co.uk/midwales (download app) also see Llanidloes.com, Rhayader.comCoed-y-Brenin and Nant-yr-Arian.

Are there any walks in surrounding area?

Yes we have our own walk and various others in folders for you to follow.

Are there any cycle routes in area?

Yes we have safe cycle routes and also extreme routes for more intense riders including Coed Y Brenin and Nant Yr Arian routes.

What is the address & postal code for the site?

Grandstand, Trefeglwys, Caersws Powys SY17 5PU 

Our entrance is straight off the main road, with the house name ‘Grandstand’ on two stone pillars, when driving through the village, don’t turn off down any narrow lanes, stay on the main road –   we are on the right hand side (when driving from Caersws direction).

Are all lodges the same?

Yes, all lodges are the same except the Crow’s Nest (sleeps 4 and all on one level).
